Story of Team Cupcake to Build WhatsApp-Clone
This blog is regarding the whole journey of building a WhatsApp clone by the team CupCake
Idea?
At first initially, no one on our team has an of how to build and manage this project then we were brainstorming together on Zoom calls. And then we have gone through a lot of blogs about how initially Whatsapp was built on and that was great learning for all of us.
Challenges we faced
Initially, we were doing good and started to clone the common repository and everyone started to code, and then the actual challenge we faced is “Merge Conflicts” as all of our team was not having much of experience working as a team it took us some time to learn and relearn the bascis of git.
The next biggest challenge we faced is the Backend using Firebase as this is our first time using firebase. then our mentor Lloyd has been a huge saviour as he shared a lot of input of how to work with Firebase.
